Temse and Spool
The spool system uses the TemSe to store output data temporarily. You can set whether the spool data is to be stored by TemSe in the SAP database or in the file system. Job logs store in TemSe as well.
Table TST01/03 maps files from OS level. when there is a mismatch between OS files and TST03, you get an inconsistent TemSe… this is when you delete those invalid entries.
TemSeConsistency check: need to do so when deleting spool got error saying spool file doesn’t exist, or after system copy.
- SP12: TemSe Consistency check — delete entries. This might take a while.
- Or SPAD — admin — consistency check of spool database, it checks between table tst01 and TemSe
- Or Execute report RSTS0020 in the background. Run RSTS0030 to delete selected entries.
- SP01 — Spool requests tab — Choose the spool you can safely deleted — excute — get a list if selection is not too broad — select all — delete
